Happy Birthday Momma

 

This lady right here, has been one of my biggest fans since the day I was born. I do not always make her happy with how I do things or the choices I have made in my life, but she has supported me and loved me through everything. 

Just hearing her voice can make my heart happy when it is sad. Just seeing her face can make me smile even when I don't feel like smiling. She has always wanted the best for me and I hope that she knows how much I really love and appreciate her. She is the best mom a girl could ever hope to have. 

God knew I needed this woman in my life and I have been thankful for her every second of my life... I might not have shown her that appreciation a time or two hundred times in the past, but I hope she knows how much her love and support has meant over the years. 

And you know what... I am more like her each and every day. I thought a while back that I never wanted to turn into my mother... but as I get older... I don't mind it so much. She is a wonderful person and has been my shining light throughout life. 

I hope today, on your birthday mom, that you know just how much you mean to me. These past months/year... has been the hardest ever... We had to postpone your trip here in 2020 and now we FINALLY have a date this November and sometimes I just cry thinking about being able to hug you for the first since since December of 2019. I love you so much momma and I can't wait for our time together and the laughter we will share. I hope you have a wonderful blessed birthday...
