A beautiful sunset dinner...

In talking with my dad, he told me that he just really wanted to come for a visit. He didn't want to wait until November. It was such a great surprise. The funny part about all of this... my mom told me on Monday that I had a package coming to work on Friday. I was talking to my kiddo and I told her right before lunch time that I hope the package comes today. (Our mail guy is not the best and we never know if we are going to get mail at work every day...) I told him after hugging him... HEY... YOU ARE THE PACKAGE coming to my work today. HA!

We didn't do too much while my dad was here. We spent most of the time just visiting and enjoying our time together. Saturday we went to return his rental car. He didn't need it. We went to the grocery store to get a few things for the next few days and for the next week for Abe and I. 

We made reservations to go have dinner at Anthony's. It was on the water and our reservation was at 8:15. Later than I like to eat dinner, but PERFECT timing for the beautiful sunset that we were able to enjoy. Dinner was absolutely delicious as well. But the company was EVEN better.
