First Week Down


Today is a great day. We are so blessed despite what is going on in the world. Today marks 1 week of me being back on track with my fasting and weight loss. Well I guess it's been only 5 days. I weigh in on Friday's, but I started Fasting again on Monday.

My fasting plans will be one meal a day every day except Thursday when I will be doing my 48 hour fast. The fast will start Wednesday after dinner and it will end Friday when I have dinner. It hasn't been too bad. I am familiar with fasting, so I think that helps some. I am drinking a TON of water with electrolytes in it and I think that helps with the hunger as well. 

Today I am down 6.6 pounds from last Friday. Yes, a lot of that might be water weight, but I will take it. Total weight loss is 32 pounds. 

It feel so good to be back on track. Yes, I would love to eat more or do this or do that, but doing all those things would not help me reach my goal weight and this year is the year I will get so much closer to my goal weight. And just remember that I do enjoy some goodies after dinner as well. I sometimes will have a few pieces of chocolate or something sweet to help my cravings, but I try to make sure it is within the recommended serving size. 

Here is to a new year... I wanted to lose 5 lbs this month and I have already crushed that goal. So, from here on out, my goal will be maintaining my 6.6 lb loss and maybe work on losing 1/2 lb each week. 

I am definitely motivated and determined to reach my goals.
